Offline Marketing Tricks Revealed! - Pt 2

Monday, November 3rd, 2008 | General, Poll, Tutorials with 7 Comments

Sorry about the delay in this new post! Been a very busy week, but an amazing weekend! Halloween parties are loads of fun ;).

So on part 1 of offline marketing tricks revealed, “C” asked:

I hear stories of people leaving business cards in phone booths, bus stop benches, or left behind in bus/taxi cab seats. I also hear about people making flyers with tear-off tabs and taping them to stoplight posts for crosswalk traffic in busy intersections. I can’t find real info on it - but is this legal?

To answer this, I had to a bit of research myself. What I found is that is LEGAL to place flyers and advertisements on the outside of the box, but it is ILLEGAL to place advertisements or flyers on the inside of the mailbox. The flag (if your neighborhood has individual mailboxes) should not be interfered with. If it is, it could be considered illegal. However, anywhere on the outside of the mailbox, as long as it “does not interrupt the postman/woman duties” is LEGAL.

Want to learn how to make your own website?

Saturday, December 15th, 2007 | General, Poll with 10 Comments

As many of my readers know, I make a pretty good income from running websites and monetizing them through various methods such as Google Adsense, private ad sales, sponsored posts, etc.

I know this site is all about GPT sites, but I know a lot of my readers are also interested in just making money online in general. So, would you all want to have a simple walk through on how to create your own website and be able to make income from them? The only reason I’m asking is because I don’t want to drive away readers.

I am thinking I would do something like a weekly “walk through”, each week covering a new step to getting your site started, getting traffic, etc. Would you want to see this on MrGPT? Answer the poll below and let me know:

If I released an eBook about GPT sites and making money online, would you buy it?

Friday, October 5th, 2007 | Poll with 9 Comments

After my last post on being accepted into NeverBlueAds, Heather posted a comment asking a few questions about finding something more reliable then GPT sites. She mentioned:

I would love to spend my days promoting something even more lucrative. If I am going to promote then I want it to be worth every hour I spend.

This really got me thinking yesterday and I am contemplating over the idea of creating a cheap eBook that describes how GPT sites work, extensive guides to completing offers, along with a section completed dedicated to starting your own website without having to have any knowledge of extensive coding.

So my question to you, if I was to create this eBook, would you buy it? I figure I would price it around $10.00. So, would you?
