Why promote one GPT site when you can promote all of them? Many people may create Freewebs pages filled with their banners and referral URLs. For some, this can be a long and tedious task. So what if I told you there was a much easier, simple way to create a public page filled with all your GPT referral URLs?
I got the idea when I was socially bookmarking some sites I have. Once I was finished I viewed my public profile on the social bookmarking site I was on. It was an easy to read list of all the sites I had bookmarked on that profile. Then I got the idea of bookmarking every GPT site I was a member on, and instead of going on forums and promoting just one GPT site, or giving them a long list of GPT referral URLs, I could just give them a link to my public profile.
Through the public profile, they could see a small snapshot of the GPT site (this is done automatically), a short description of the site that you create yourself (maybe mention the minimum cashout, when they pay, how you get paid, etc), and of course, your referral URL.
The site you can do this through is Mister-Wong. Yes, it has a funny name but it is very easy to use. Once registered, just go to “Add” and follow the simple instructions. You can see an example of my profile at http://www.mister-wong.com/user/mrgpt/.
Now instead of creating some complicated Freewebs page or just putting a long list of your referral URLs, you can now just give them a link to your Mister Wong profile. Pretty cool huh?

It’s a problem that I have, and that you probably have too - staying on task. At least for me, one YouTube video can lead to another, and before I know, I have wasted 15 minutes on pointless videos or games. Fortunately, I was able to get rid of this problem by motivating myself. These really are some great ways to earn the money you need to purchase some type of item you’d like. Here’s some of the the methods I use:
1) Set your homepage to what you’d like to buy.
This may seem silly, but setting your homepage to the product or service you want to buy can really help you stay motivated. For example, if you want to purchase a laptop, set your homepage to an Amazon or Newegg page that has that exact product. Now every time you open your browser, you will be reminded of this laptop and how bad you want it.
2) Print out a picture and tape it on your monitor.
Another idea that may seem silly but actually works. Just print out a small picture of whatever you want to buy. We’ll use the laptop again for this example. Just print out a small picture of your laptop, get some tape, and put it somewhere around your monitor. Now you’ll have your laptop on your mind anytime you’re on your computer, which will motivate you to get your laptop more.
3) Do it right NOW!
When you put things off, you won’t do them. I’m sure you’ve procrastinated before and either ended up staying up a lot later than you expected, or just didn’t even do whatever you were going to. If you do it now, and get it out of the way, you can enjoy yourself after. So if your goal is to make $5.00 per day towards your laptop, for example, just do it right when you wake up. Get it out of the way, and make your day free for whatever you’d like.
The above come pretty natural to me. I don’t actually have to change my homepage or tape pictures onto my monitor. Although it did help me in the beginning, I now set small goals and complete them. I do my “work” first thing, and get it out of the way. Hopefully the above methods will help you stay motivated and help you earn or purchase whatever you are trying to get.
It’s pretty well-known with most users of the internet what an affiliate/referral URL looks like. It’s also a fact that affiliate/referral URLs will not do as well as normal links. They are less attractive, and look a lot more spammy. To resolve this, people started using URL shorteners, such as TinyURL. Well, now that looks spammy, and personally, I don’t want to click on a shortened URL if I don’t know where the page is going.
So today I wanted to teach you one of the methods I use. It’s called cloaking, and it will hide your referral URL to make your link look more friendly and attractive. In order to cloak your URL, you are going to be need some type of web hosting and FTP access. If you’ve been following my 7 Weeks to Success series, you should already have web hosting and know how to connect to your FTP.
I’m going to show you how to change a link that looks like www.domain.com/register.asp?l=en&ref=543, into something like www.domain.com/filename.php. You tell me which one looks less spammy and more attractive. I’ve made a redirect help page to show you how to do this.
This is a great way to hide your affiliate/referral links for Clickbank products, CPA networks, and even GPT sites. It’s an easy method and once you learn the first time, it’s just simply replacing a URL.
