Where will GPT sites be in three years?

Monday, August 6th, 2007 | Poll with

Sorry for the long time wait for a new poll, but there’s been a lot going on. Recently, my main concentration has been on the new Tips category I recently launched. However, this weeks poll is based on a very touchy subject. There’s been a major hype about where GPT will be in a few years. Why have people been asking themselves this? Too many fraudulent users. People doing offers more then once, using false information, etc. If you don’t know why GPT fraud is bad and would like to know how it affects all of us, give this article a read. For now, feel free to answer this poll:

I voted for just the majors. I think consolidation occurs in any industry and the GPT programs will be no different. I think we may see some changes in authentications and verifications to weed out the frauds, but I can’t see the death of the whole group as plausible. They will find a way to weed out the problems.

With GPT sites popping up like mushroms I think it’s pretty obvious that not all of them can survive. The big ones will probably make it through. I think we will see them eating each other up, leaving just a few giants.

I was scammeed by SWATCASH.COM. I filed a VERY DETAILED report with a few advertisers, FBI.GOV, FTC.GOV, BBB.ORG and a few other places which I found by digging up information on the sites owners, I will not name these institutions. They accused me of fraud, threatened me if I filed any reports. They kept my small amount of money instead of giving it to me. They won’t be around a long time.

It’s really a shame that small minded people need to turn what is a legitimate income producing idea into a scam. The greed that is out there sometimes amazes me. Of course doing a search for them returns mixed results with many more positive reports than negative ones. In this business it is so hard to build legitimacy and just one bad comment can keep so many away. Now I don’t know what to think. I guess I will just stay with an established program like Cash Crate.

As long as new good paying offers keep coming out there will be always be the GPT sites. I don’t think it will only be the majors as I doubt they will want to buy all the sites out there.
