Why aren’t my offers crediting?

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007 | Questions with

This question comes from Melissa in Baton Rouge, LA. She asked me:

Why aren’t my offers crediting? I’ve done so many and none of them get approved!

Melissa, you aren’t alone. Many people have your exact same problem. There are some simple guidelines I suggest you follow to avoid having hundreds of “pending offers” that will never go through.

First off, I recommend you read the GPT Crediting Guide. This is actually RaidTheBank’s crediting guide, used with permission from the owner. After reading the crediting guide, you will not only hopefully understand why your offers aren’t crediting, but also have a better understanding of GPT sites in general and how they work.

Here are some basic questions to answer to yourself when you are completing offers:

  1. Are you clearing cookies between each offer? Many new-comers are unaware that you have to clear cookies after you complete a offer. If you don’t know to clear cookies, I recommend you check out my GPT Tutorials page.
  2. Are you using a different email addresses for a survey in the same family? Many people don’t understand what a offer family is, so let me explain. If you see two different offers from “MID”, those are in the same family, note the MID. You cannot use the same email address you used on one two different MID offers. However, if you see a “Clash” offer, you can use the same email address you used on the MID offer since they are in different families.
  3. Are you using a proxy? Proxies are not allowed on any GPT sites. AOL browsers can cause your account to look like it is being accessed via a proxy, so I recommend using Internet Explorer.

Thanks for the question Melissa! If you’d like to ask me a question, please contact me.

    Dear Mr. GPT,

Do you know if the period trick still works for getting offers to credit? You used to be able to change a gmail address for each site or for different visits. For example, you could change GPT@gmail.com to G.PT@gmail.com and the message is sent to the same email address via GMail. Is this prohibited or allowed by GPTs today? and can this trick help offers credit? In my experience it does but I don’t want to be banned from the GPT industry! Best wishes and thanks.

The period trick does work, at least some of the time, but companies are becoming wise to it, so I suggest not using it. Doing this can get you banned. Just use a fake email unless it says you have to confirm it. BTW, PrizeLive and CashCrate are my favorites.
